March 1886 —Whereas a notification, dated the 24th February 1885, was publislidii zn thc ('alcutta Gazette of the 25th denn, declaring the Lieutenant-Governor's utention to extend the provisions of Part VII of the Bengal Municipal Act, III (B C ) of 1884, to the Hurdwan Munit Inality, and whereas, valid objections having been raised to the measure, the Municipal Commission rS at a meeting have now recommended the introduction of the said provisions of the Art into those portions of Wards A, B and C of the municipality which are situated within a quarter of a mile from the uearest hydrant, it is hereby notified for general Information that, in the exercise of the powe's vested in the Local Government by section 221 of the Act, the Lieutenant-Governor sanctions the extension of the provisions of Part VII of the Act to the aforesaid portions of the municipality. The area is bounded as follows —- on the North —Bw a line from the north-east corner of gard, n west of Arambag piemises to Cutwa oad, 550 fect north of the railway crossing, thence by a line running west to the Grand Trunk road, where Pahurourbmongla toad meets it, thence by a line lunning south west to a bokul tree on side of lèussit kpur to T3ahirsurbinongla road and near a dargatolla, the nee by a line running southward to north-east corner of Fansectolla tank, thence by a line running south-west to north-west cornel of Shamsagar, thence by a line running southwest to tri-junction of Shamlal and Kisseusagar road, north of Shamlal latrines, thence by a line running south-west to centre of opening in Kisschagar east embankment, thence by a line running morth-west to no th-east cormer of Belguria lank, nouth of Poddarpokur in Kaluhaut, close on south side of puck a road to Goda, thence by a line running west to qouth-west corner of Kajnbaa (now a waste land), thence a line running north-west to the morth-west corner of Chota Bauhapokoor, north of Lacoordy latrimes, thence by a line to “he north-west cormor of Doorlabha Devalava promises, thence by a lime to the south-east corner of Kenary tank in the fields north of Kantrapotta On the lyest –I}y a line running south from south-east corner of Kenary tank to the south-east corner of Khankapokool in Kantrapotta , thence by a line running south to the north-east cornel of Ilat pokool in Kantrapotta, thence by a line running sonth ward to the water-works chunant v oli b inks of the lo anka 1 iver.
