& 340 In all his conduct and conversation Danié, throughout his whole life, ever manifested the greatest devotion to and reverence for God, the firmest belief in His gracious overruling přovidence, and the warmest zeal for His honour. His entire history is evidence of the truth of this assertion, and shews him to have been eminently a good nan. And what more can I say of him? Ny we have even the express testimony of his enemies to the irreproachableness of his character— “Then said theose men, we shall not find any occasion against i ňaniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.” (vi. 5.)
