O O O O O O MISCELLANEOUS. A. The recent press reports regarding appointment and posting of officials under the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh were brought to the notice of the Acting President and the Cabinet. After some discussion on the subject it was decided that a statement clarifying the policy of the Government in this regard should be issued by the Acting Secretary General, who would act as the Spokesman for the Government on the Administrative matters. It would be made very clear that the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh would borrow the services of only experts and skilled personnel from outside as Advisers in such cases where they would not be available to the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh immediately. To dispel misgivings it was further decided to announce all important Government postings clearly mentioning the names, former postings, and present assignment of the incumbents. B. Copies of all letters of appointment should also forwarded to all Zonal Councils. The Councils should also informed of all the transfers posting orders covering the employees working in respective Zones. C. The Cabinet also considered the question of issue of entry permits. It was decided that entry permits issued by the Government of India would be considered as a............. clearance from that Government.
