I also wish all success to the fighting forces of my country. শ্রী এস,এ , শামীম (শ্রনগর):ঃ স্পীকার মহোদয়, এই সংসদ এবং এই দেশ গত ২৫ বছরে খুব নাজুক ও ঐতিহাসিক সিধান্ত গ্রহন করেছে। কিন্তু আজকের মুহুর্ত সম্ভবতঃ এ দেশের ইতিহাসের সবচেয়ে বেশী নাজুক এবং সবচেয়ে বড় ঐতিহাসিক মুহুর্ত। এর আগে আমরা যুদ্ধ করেছি নিজ দেশ রক্ষার জন্য, নিজেদের নিরপত্তার জন্য, কিন্তু আজকের যুদ্ধের তাৎপর্য ভিন্নতর। আজ আমরা শুধু নিজ দেশ রক্ষার জন্যই লরাই করছি না, আমরা বাংলাদেশের জন্যও লড়ছি। আমরা শুধু নিজ দেশের স্বাধীনতা রক্ষার লড়াই করছি না, বরং পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের পরাধীন জনগনের স্বাধীনতার লড়াইও লড়ছি। বিশ্বাস করুন এ যুদ্ধে শুধু ভারতের ৫৫ কোটি লোকই নয়, বরং সমগ্র বিশ্বমানব এবং বিশেষ করে পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের উৎপীড়িত জনতাও আপনাদের সঙ্গে রয়েছে যারা বিগত ২৫ বছর ধরে ইয়াহিয়া খান ও আইয়ুব খানের মিলিটারী শসন যন্ত্রে নিস্পেষিত হচ্ছে।
