Now though that connection, once so dear and dignifying, has ceased most probably for ever, he can not wipe out from his mind the sweet recollections of your blessed companionship which you were then so pleased to grant him. It was through that blessed companionship that he was inspired with many noble and elevating thoughts about the principles of Hindoo Religion, which you with your deep knowledge and vast erudition in the countless treasures of the ancient shasters inculcated into his mind. In respectful acknowledgment of the debt immense of endless gratitude which you were thus pleased to lay him under, THIS BOOK is dedicated in your beloved name with a fervent prayer that your departed soul may rest in peace in heaven aad your noble son may live long in the blissful enjoyment of such hard-fought and dear-bought Throne of Panna as its pride and glory, walking in the footsteps of his illustrious fore-fathers and glorifyhng the most noble and august family of the Great Chatrasal.
