Márods declares (this):-"All these sons are pronounced heirs of a man, who has no legitimate issue by himself begotten; but should a true legitimate on be afterwards born, they have no right of primogeniture: such among them as are of equal class, (with the father,) shall have a third part as their allotment, but those of a lower tribe must live dopendsnt on him, supplied with food and raiment—W. Ara, Sang, p. o 韃 591. Not only one legitimately begotten son, but also as many as there my be born subsequent to the adoption of a son, would take severally double the share of the adopted son, who in either case is entitled to one half share of each of the former.” Sridhara Seáns, in his gloss on a verse of the Bioavata, quotes a text of law on the benefit arising from a multitude of sons, to explain the motive for desiring many children, when a subsidiary son (is adopted) even though a pringipal one be living :-"Many sons are to be desired, that some one of them may travel to Gayá.”—The adoption of a son given, although a son of the body be living, being thus valid, he shall haves third part as his share, in the same manner with a son given, subsequently to whose adoption a son of the body was born (according to the text of Depala (cited) “Heirs"—that is, entitled to a full share. “Shall have as their share one third of the property"—that is, they shall have as a share one third part of that which is receivable by the son legally begotten. What shall be the share ?
