The work before us is full of original suggestions and acute remarks. We draw to it the attention of all thoughtful Brahmos who want to study the philosophical foundation of their religion. * * * * * * * Like Geometry Theology or the Science of Religion is a deductive science. The former begins with a few axioms and definitions and constructs from them by deductive reasoning the whole body of the science. The latter starts from certain axioms known intuitively and developes by deductive reasoning the truths which are implicitly contained in them. * * * * *. We have briefly given above the method proposed by our author for the Science of Religion in this little book. It is not a bad one so far as it goes. It is indeed quite a legitimate method in science and has been very fruitful as is well known in Geometry and other Deductive Sciences. Within its proper limits it could be equally fruitful in the Science of Religion.
