>br স্বসন্তান লাভের উপায় । লোকের সংখ্যা এত অল্প কেন ? এজগতে কেনই বা সহস্ৰ সহস্ৰ লোকের মধ্যে অতি অল্পসংখ্যক লোক কৃতিত্ব লাভ করে ? এই সংসারে কেনই বা এত পাপ তাপ দুঃখ কষ্ট ও অকালমৃত্যু দেখা যায় এবং কেনই বা প্রকৃত সুখী ও কৃতী লোকের সংখ্যা এত অল্প ? এজগতে পুণ্যবান অপেক্ষা পাপীর সংখ্যা এত বেশী কেন ? এই প্রশ্নগুলি অতীব গুরুতর, কিন্তু ইহার মীমাংসা অতি সহজ ।” সু- s “পিতামাতার পরস্পর প্রগাঢ় ভালবাসা, সন্মতি ও মুনিয়মের ফলে দশ হাজার সন্তানের মধ্যে একটিমাত্র সস্তান ভূমিষ্ঠ হইয়া থাকে। অপর নয় হাজার নয় শত নিরনব্বই জন পিতামাতার রাণীকৃত সঞ্চিত পাপের বোঝা লইয়া জন্ম গ্রহণ করে। যখন জগতের সৰ্ব্বত্রই এই ভীষণ অবস্থা, তখন ধাৰ্ম্মিক, ন্যায়পরায়ণ, সুখী ও দীর্ঘায়ু লোকের অভাব হইবে না কেন ? এবং সৰ্ব্বত্রই যে পাপী, তাপী, মাতাল, জুয়াচোর, নরহত্যাকারী, আত্মহত্যাকারী, জড়, রুগ্ন লোক দেখা যাইবে, ইহাতে আর আশ্চর্য্যের বিষয় কি আছে ? ফলতঃ যে পর্য্যন্ত পিতামাত সহবাস ইত্যাদি সম্বন্ধে সুনিয়মগুলি বিশেষ আগ্রহের সহিত প্রতিপালন না করিবেন, সে পৰ্য্যন্ত
