॥ दृितापदेशाः ॥ ९९ একও যাহার নাহি ভাহীর জন্ম ছাগলের গলদেশস্থিত স্তনের ন্যায় নিরর্থক হয় । অপরও কহাযাইতেছে। আযু আর কৰ্ম্ম আর ধন আর বিদ্যা আর মরণ এই পাঁচ গৰ্ত্ত স্থাবস্থাতেই জীবের সৃষ্ট হয় । আর অবশ্যভাবি পদার্থ সকল মহতেরও হয় ইহার দৃষ্টান্ত মহাদেবের নগ্নত্ব এবs হরির মহাসপশয্যা । এব^ যে হইবার উপযুক্ত নয় সে হইবে না যে হইবার উপযুক্ত তাহার অন্যথা হুইবে না এতাদৃশ চিন্তান্ধপবিষনাশক ওষধি কি লোককতৃক পীত A. হয় না অর্থাৎ অবশ্য হয় । Who should boast ef many sons, unfit to seenre good fortune 2 one son who supports his family, and who does credit to his father, is preferable. What is not to be, that is not to be; if it be ta coms to pass, it cannot be otherwise. This reasoning is an antidote. Why doth not the afflicted drink of it;
