Early Life and Career
Barua was born in 1955 in Aburkhil Village, Raozan Upazila, Chittagong District to Rohini Ranjan Barua and Bishakha Barua.
Barua started his career as a lecturer at Chakaria Government University College and latter as Head & Professor of Biology at Chakaria Government University College.
Barua served as the life member of Bangladesh Boudha Kristi Prachar Sangha & was an Executive Member of Central Committee of Bangladesh Boudha Kristi Prachar Sangha.^[ 7 ]. He is the Founder President, C EO & Research Director of Buddhist Glimpse for Research Centre, Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Personal Life
Barua has two sons, Dr.Ashin Barua and Saurav Barua.
