3.35 শতানীক মুনি আপন পুত্রপ্রতি জ্ঞানোপদেশ করিতে ছেন যে যেমন মহারণ্যমধ্যে ভ্রমণ করিতেং ক্রমে সুন্দর পথ হয় সেই রূপ বারম্বার বেদাধ্যয়ন করিতেং জ্ঞানে। দয় হয় যেহেতুক ক্রমেতে অলঙুনীয় যে পৰ্ব্বত তাহাকেও উল্লঞ্জন করা যায় । - Sutaneek, the sage, thus instructs his son; as a good path is gradually formed in a great forest by constant walking, so a knowledge of the Veda may be acquired by constant study; for even an apparently impassible mountain may be scaled by degrees.

শনৈঃ পন্থাঃ শনৈঃ কস্থা শনৈঃ পৰ্ব্বতলড্রন-১। শনৈঃ , কৰ্ম্ম চ ধৰ্ম্মশ্চ এতে পঞ্চ শনৈঃ শনৈঃ । ইতি মহাজনগৃ হীত বাক্য০২ ৷ ক্রমেতে পন্থ হয় এবপ২ত্রমেতে কস্থ হয় তথ। ক্রমেতে পৰ্ব্বতলঞ্জন হয় এব• ক্রমেতে কৰ্ম্ম ও ধৰ্ম্ম হয়। এই পাচ বিষয় ক্রমেং ন হইলে হঠাৎ হয় না । A road is formed by degrees; a quilt is formed by the accumulation of rags; by degrees, a mountain is scaled ; good deeds come also by degrees, so also does holiness.
