316 from the days of Adam to the end of the world, will be othere. “They will be continually before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple. (Rev. xiii. 25.) They ةiaال hunger no more, neither thirst any more : (xv. 16.) nor shall there be any more sickness, or sorrow, or pain, or death (xxi. 4.), and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” (xvii. 17.) Because they will no more sin against God, but will be perfectly holy and obedient to his commands. In that happy state “there will be no need of the sun, neither'of the moontoshine init,for the glory of God will lighten it, and the Lamb, i. e. the Lord Jesus Christ, be the light thereof.” (Rev. xxi. 23.) “The river of life flows through the city, and the tree of life grows on its banks.” (xxii. i) The inhabitants of that happy abode, as they surround 'the throne of God, will worship him in songs of praise, such as these : “Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb I Blessing, and glory, and wis dom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might be unto our God for ever and ever!
