( २se ) বর্ষ ও হেমন্তকাল গত হইলে মীরণের সেনাদল পুনরায় প্রাপ্য বেতনের নিমিত্ত উত্তেজিত হইয়া উঠিল। , এক দিবস ঐ দলস্থ মীর ফজলে আলি ও আছমতুল্লা নামক দুইজন সৈনিক রাজবল্লভের দেওয়ান খানায় সমাগত হইয়া বলিল যে, প্রাপ্য বেতন না পাইলে তাহারা সেস্থান পরিত্যাগ করিবে না। অব্যবহিত পরেই দীন মহম্মদ প্রভৃতি কতিপয় সেন রাজবল্লভের সহিত সাক্ষাতের ভান করিয়া ঐ স্থলে উপস্থিত হইল । তৎকালে রাজবল্লভ কক্ষান্তরে ক্ষৌরী হইতেছিলেন। আছমতুল্ল প্রভৃতি প্রায় ত্ৰিশ জন সেনার সহিত মীর ফজলে আলি ঐ কক্ষে প্রবেশ করিয়া রাজবল্লত্তের সহিত আলাপনে প্রবৃত্ত হইল। তিনি তাহাদিগকে বলিলেন, উপযুক্ত অর্থ সংগৃহীত হইলেই তাহাদের প্রাপ্য বেতন পরিশোধ করা হইবে । তাহার রাজবল্লভের কথায় কর্ণপাত না করিয়া তাহাকে দেওয়ান খানায় লইয়া গেল। ঐস্থলে বহু সংখ্যক সেনা সমবেত হইয়া-- ছিল এবং সকলে মিলিয়া তাহাকে বেষ্টন করিয়া ফেলিল। রাজবল্লভের অনুচরবর্গ এই সংবাদ অবগত হইয়া দ্রুতপদে সেই দিকে ধাবমান হইল, এবং অচিরে উভয়পক্ষে এক সংঘর্ষ উপস্থিত হইবার উপক্রম হইল, কিন্তু tressed by them, nor will they release him till the money is paid.
