>७b• • ब्रांख्रिश्नांद्रांशू बश्रद्ध स्त्रांशू-फब्रिड् । a'asa's 'ara Vk যেমন সুধীরা নটী সঙ্গীত, নৃত্য ও কত প্ৰকার তানের বশবর্তী হইয়াও মন্তকস্থিত কুম্ভ পতিত হইতে দেয় না, তদ্রুপ ধীর ব্যক্তি পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খরূপে বিষয়ের প্রতি মনোযোগ দিয়াও মুক্তিদাতা ঈশ্বরের পদারবিন্দ পরিত্যাগ করেন না । তাহার ১৮৭১ সালের ২৮শে ডিসেম্বর তারিখের পত্রে এই শ্লোক जधएक डिनेि अभिक शिथिभ्रांछिgठन "I have a sonnet to quote to you by a favourite English Poet of mine, Elizabeth Barret Browning, it so much agrees in sentiment with this passage you quoted to me; "As the woman that dances with a pitcher full of water on her head, dances regularly but has her mind upon the pitcher to prevent it from falling, so a pious man should perform worldly business but have his mind at the same time set upon God.' The woman singeth at her spinning-wheel A pleasant chant, ballad, or bar carolle, She thinketh of her song, upon the whole, Far more than of her work, and yet the reel Is full, and artfully her fingers feel With quick adjustment, provident control, The lines too subtly twisted to unroll Out to a perfect thread. I hence appeal To the dear Christian Church, that we may do Our Father's business in these temples mirth, Thus swift and steadfast thus intent and strong, The while apart from toil, our souls pursue Some high, calm, spheric tune, and prove our work The better, for the sweetness of our song.
