| So a পক্ষার্থে উড়িষ্যায় যাইতে পারেন। সেই সময়ে গোবিন্দদেবকে আনয়ন করিয়াছিলেন বলিয়া বোধ হয়, ও উড়িষ্যাবাসিগণ তজ্জন্ত সম্ভবতঃ তাহাকে বাধাও প্রদান করিয়াছিল। জলেশ্বর প্রভৃতি স্থানে সেই জন্য তাহাদের সহিত প্রতাপের যুদ্ধ ঘটে। গোবিন্দদেবকে আনয়ন করিয়া প্রতাপ তাহার মন্দির নিৰ্ম্মাণ করিয়া স্থাপন করেন। ঐ স্থানকে এক্ষণে গোপালপুর কহে । গোপালপুর কালীগঞ্জ থানার অন্তর্গত। উক্ত মন্দির এখনও ভগ্নাবস্থায় বিদ্যমান আছে — * “It is one of the four temples said to have been erected by Maharaja Pratap Aditya for the idol Gobinda Deb. The idol, it is alleged, was brought by him from Puri. Of the four temples only one now exists. The temples stood at right angles to one another, having a rectangular space inside them. Those on the southern, western, and northern sides have fallen down, and are now a heap of ruins. Some of the old inhabitants of village Gopalpur have seen the temples which were on the southern and western sides. The one on the eastern side now stands. All the temples were built on the same plan, and the one which now exists was two-storied.
