Babylon under several of his successors. At the cnd of seven years Nebuchadnezzar's reason returned. He one day, under the divine influence, suddenly raised himself from the ground where he had so long mingled with the oxen, chewing the cud like them, and looked up to the heavens and abroad u pon the earth with the returning thought and feelings of an intelligent being. He was of course soon restored to the government of his kingdom, and became a worshipper of the true God. But I will relate i views and feelings in his own language. It was not long after he thus agaio ascended the throne, that he sent out a proclamation to all the people in his extensive dominions, giving an account of the wonderful tlings that had happened to him.
